Ciosa Autopartes was founded in 1988, when Mr. Jaime Huguenin envisioned the launch of a business venture for the importation and distribution of auto parts in Mexico. Within ten years, the company was servicing all Mexican states and had established trading relations with auto part producers in fifteen countries around the world. In 2001, under the second in command Jorge Huguenin, the company re-invented its business formula to ensure the standard of service which has made the Ciosa name synonymous with excellence in the industry. The following year, the business process was reviewed again to gain further efficiency and speed; a result of which was the construction of a world class distribution center in Guadalajara City.

In 2004, the company obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification, reinforcing the actions the company had taken in previous years to continuously improve its processes and systems. ISO 9001:2000 certification specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:

1. Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and

2. Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

That same year, Ciosa identified a clear and global trend that needed to get products closer to the final consumer – Total Parts, the first retail store, was then opened in Guadalajara City. In 2010, Ciosa launched its North America venture, establishing its first U.S. office and commercial distribution center in Houston, TX which will serve as a base to propel itself into other local markets.

At the present time Ciosa Autopartes has distribution centers in Jalisco, Guanajuato, Nuevo Leon, Pueblo, Tabasco and soon in Coahuila, Sonora and Mexico City. These units will operate wholesale and retail, to offer faster service and efficiency to our clients.
